Kristine is a small-town farm kid who grew up on a hobby farm outside of Atwater, Minnesota. She started working when she was 15 and is the first generation in her family to attain an advanced degree. Kristine’s upbringing taught her the importance of hard work, a value she carries with her into the practice of law. She is willing to dig deep to identify solutions to a legal problem that might not be readily apparent. She recognizes there is no one-size-fits-all approach to every legal issue, and she works hard to treat every client and case with the personal attention they deserve.
Kristine has held many different roles in the legal field. This breadth of experience gives her a broad base of knowledge to draw from when representing clients. She takes a common sense and collaborative approach and helps clients make the most informed decision possible about the unique legal issues they face. While Kristine approaches every case with collaboration and cooperation in mind, she has extensive courtroom experience and is not afraid to litigate an issue that does not lend itself to a collaborative resolution. The best part of her job is helping clients find a workable, cost-effective outcome to a difficult legal situation.
When she is not working, Kristine enjoys sports, especially Shotokan Karate, and watching amateur baseball with her husband. She enjoys reading, baking, and gardening and is a quilter who creates unique pieces that are specially selected for each recipient.
